How do I setup my Outlook?
NOTE: If using Outlook 2007, the steps are pretty much the same. The main difference is in how you get to the email accounts. You will click on Tools > Account Settings > New. Everything else should be the same.
To Set Up Your E-mail Account in Microsoft Outlook
- In Microsoft Outlook, select Tools > E-mail Accounts.
- On the E-mail Accounts wizard window, select "Add a new e-mail account" and click Next.

- For your server type, select "POP3" and click Next.

1. On the Internet E-mail Settings (POP3) window, enter your information as follows:
Your Name: Enter your first and last name.
E-mail Address: Enter your e-mail address.
User Name: This is the first part of your email address, ie: if your email address is This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , then your username is joesnuffy
Password: Enter the password you set up for your e-mail account, if you do not know your password, then contact us at 210-692-9911 and someone can reset it for you.
Incoming mail server (POP3): This is going to be pop.domain.com. IE: if your email is This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it then the incoming server is pop.nbtx.com.
Outgoing mail server (SMTP): Almost the same as incoming, except server becomes smtp.nbtx.com.
Click "More Settings."
- On the Internet E-mail Settings window, select the "Outgoing Server" tab.
- Select "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication."
- Select "Use same settings as my incoming mail server".

- Select the "Advanced" tab and change the "Outgoing server (SMTP)" port to 587.
- Click OK.
- Click Next.

- Click Finish.
